An interpretation of a classic!
This cake sponge has Valrhona cocoa and dark chocolate mixed into it and is stacked with spoonfuls of whipped cream and juicy macerated organic cherries, with some more vanilla and a drop of port. The top layer has a lick of milk chocolate for a bite of sweet and is topped off with some more juicy cherries.
This cake is 18cm in diameter and serves 8 people. Keep refrigerated for the cream however allow for it to come to room temperature before serving (about 30-60 minutes in December weather).
Please note the cherries have been cooked down with a little bit of alcohol and vanilla. On request we can do this without any alcohol.
