Wedge of Candied Orange and Chocolate Panforte

Panforte 

A speciality of Siena, this traditional Italian dessert is somewhere between candy and cake. It literally translates as spiced bread although panpepata (spiced fruit cake) would be more accurate.

Best enjoyed thinly sliced as dessert or afternoon treat by yourself or with others.

Ingredients:

Almonds, pecans, 71% dark chocolate, stoneground flour, candied orange peel, honey, sugar, cocoa, dried figs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, rice paper.
