Mondvol Soet Vrugtekoek / Fruitcakes

What would Christmas be without a fruitcake in the house?

Every year I bake Festive Fruitcakes or better known as Mondvol Soet Krismis Koek. My cakes are packed with a variety of dried fruit including dried apricots and my own candied peel, doused with KWV brandy, and decorated with almonds and cherries - if you know, you know! 

These cakes make for excellent year end gifts for others but better yet - for yourself. Serve as a showstopper dessert with sweet wine and cheese or slice away your fruitcake over the long lazy summer days. I only bake a limited of fruitcake each year - so make sure to place an order while you can.

Collection and deliveries to take place from mid November and the first week of December. Nationwide shipping to take place from 18 November 2025

Xmas cakes are available in two sizes:

15cm cake approx 1kg
18cm cake approx 1.4kg

Cakes will be available to order for collection from:
