Inspired by the Pink which is women, femininity and perhaps even breasts.
“Frambosie” is Afrikaans for Raspberry and this soft pink, dome shaped cake is for those who appreciate an alternative take on beauty.
An 18cm cake base which goes slightly narrower to the top is made up on thin layers of vanilla cake which is layered with raspberry compote and blood orange curd. The cake is wrapped up in a buttercream with hints of lemon and vanilla.
Cake Care
Cakes are best stored in the fridge and travel best from there however do serve at room temperature.
Shelf Life
Three days if stored boxed and wrapped in the fridge.
