Inspired by an apronful of freshly picked lemons from my daughter's schoolyard, September's cake is a tangy + sweet adaption of a classic dessert with a twist...
Coconut Lemon & Lime Meringue Cake A gentle, but impactful, cake featuring classic flavour notes. Layers of sweet, yet tart, lemon curd are sandwiched between light lime and vanilla cake sponge with a coconut milk soak. Finished off with a torched vanilla & maple syrup meringue topping to fight over.
I am testing keeping one cake from my core range on offer throughout the month and the winner this month is of course the Dark Cocoa Sponge with Tahini Buttercream!
For the month of September, the ever-popular Choc Tahini cake will be on offer :)
Orders close on each Wednesday at 8pm for the each upcoming Friday, so make sure to place your order for this month’s cake timeously!
Orders are open up until the Wednesday before the Friday in question. Make sure to choose your cake date with care!
Can you deliver my order?
For our cake options we offer deliver for local Cape Town addresses only. The delivery fee is calculated by area.
Please reach out via email if you would like to enquire about delivery outside of local Cape Town areas.
Can I collect my order?
Yes, there are 3 collection points currently available in Cape Town: Hout Bay and City Centre. When you place your order, please choose your collection point and make sure to take note of the collection times!
